ok... i really dont understand the apple shipping website,
apparently the ipod ive bought is supppose to be coming between the 16th-17th of septmeber even though i ordered it last thursday.
on the website it says
Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 17 Sep 2009 (Subject to change)
Current Delivery Status Shipment dispatched 08 Sep 2009
the last time i ordered something from apple it came on a day before it was expected to be delivered, i and i re-aranged the delivery date and they still didnt turn up.. (well they did , just 4 hours late) so i had to pay for them to re-deliver, the next time it arrived when they said..
so when do you think itl arrive this time?
It left Apple on the 8th, the carrier will deliver it on, or before, the 17th.
where is "apple' though?

Apple is, i am fairly certain, in the Republic of Ireland not the UK.
"Apple" may well be in the far east, where the item was manufactured.
Took ages for my copy of Snow Leopard to dispatch/arrive but a hard driver i ordered from them was with me really fast, mixed results here.

They are announcing new iPods today, so could be delayed shipment of a new model?
They might have stopped production of the one you ordered.
Or not actually, if it has already been dispatched...
