While some think it's a bit of a joke, apparently poor spelling and grammar is costing the country millions. Who'd of thunk it?
Think of it not as boring grammar pedantry, but as help. 😆
My job consists of selling a technical product to customers all over Africa and the Middle East so it's essential that my emails are in clear, correct, plain English. Quite often I will write an email then delete half of it and rewrite it to make the meaning clearer.
I've seen so much time and money wasted through sloppy writing causing misunderstandings.

I wonder how many people have skipped over the thread because the title is badly written?
We've recently set up a centre in India to do all the admin style work at our place, found that they send the most eloquently worded emails and instant messages, our guys have a lot to learn off them in that respect.
