Before I break something. Got new phone today iphone 4s had 3gs and now cant send AOL emails on any of them or wifes 3gs. I can recieve fine but thats it. I am getting the message "a copy has been placed in your outbox. The recipiant ******** was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying" any ideas
Yeah, AOL probably don't allow you to send emails through their server unless you're on their internet connection. It's the same with many providers.
it hasn't been a problem for the last 2 years.It cant be just a coincidence that it happened today with new phone change
Same problem here, works fine off the laptop tho. Opened a gmail account and have them both set on the I phone now.

There's 6 pages on that thread try the more recent ones if you haven't already.
Works fine on my Android, I had to feed the server addresses in, but otherwise off it went.
Got it sorted, had to delete server and start another one
