As my wifes grandparents have both passed this year we have 2 good condition, well running mobility scooters. I don't want to sell them I'd rather they were donated to be used elsewhere. Does anyone know of any charity or organisation that would take them? I'm going to try Age Concern but i'd be surprised if they would take them.

How about a local elderly care home or the local council housing assocation?

If any local charities near you take electrical goods that may be your best bet.

You are, of course, going to have races on them before handing them over, aren't you?

No, you are. Really, you are.

Or you could sell them and donate the proceeds to a relevant charity?

Already done that. Surprisingly nippy little things, particularly going down hill.
