I had audacity on my last pooter but it didn't seem to work in stereo. Is there anything better before I download it again?

it does stereo, CoolEditPro/CoolEdit2000/AdobeAudition are my preferred editors. Not free though.

audacity works fine stereo-wise for me, and is great considering the price.
