Realise I'll be selling my soul to the Murdoch Empire, but there is a great offer on at the moment.
What is the service like basically?
They're good on the phones, but the quality of the internet varies. I was previously on ADSL+ at the old house, now on fibre & am not noticing any real difference (other than cost). My router tells me I'm getting 40Mbps downstream, but speed tests (over LAN) are showing 10-16Mbps, which is slower than I was getting at the old house.
To be fair I've not had the time or inclination to take this up with them yet, so can't comment on their response.
I've been on ADSL with them and now on a Fiber connection.
The wireless routers are utter rubbish so I've replaced mine but other than that the line speed is rock solid and never had any downtime in 3 years.
Im mostly happy with the price and quality of my Sky Broadband (with calls and line rental), however Im more htan a little non-plussed that there is a surcharge because im NOT a SKY TV customer.
If I wasn't likely moving house this year I'd be telling them to poke that on principle.
