I've got a few - and a Mac Mini in the living room as a media server. The Mac plays music all round the house through the airports.

A bit fiddly to set up but once configured, work really well. Good wifi coverage is needed to avoid dropouts.

Saying that, I've just plastered cables into the wall in the kitchen to run off the 'B' channel from the living room as it's easier to manage - you don't need a twin socket (one for airport, one for speaker/amp power).

Run cables if you can, if you already have powered speakers/stereo then Airport worth a look.

I also use my an iTunes app on my phone to control the music on the Mac. Works a treat. (Tunes Remote for Android. iPhone/Touch has it built in and also lets you turn individual airports on and off)

Yep have 3 of them around the house.

Work nicely with iTunes and you can download an app called Airfoil to grap the audio from other apps and stream it to them, but it won't work with video as the delay is massive.
