I'm looking at getting a magazine subscription. I fancy some SF/science stuff, and I wondered if anyone had read Analog? Would you recommend it? Or similar mags you'd recommend? I'm swerving politics/current affairs and erring towards literature/fiction/science. Ideas appreciated!

I sub to Asimov's. It's normally good. I'm in the process of reading through the current issue which has had an unusual mixture of really poor and very good. A terrible Cthulhu story, a poor K K Rausch (sp?), and then a very good Chinese writer and a Dying Earth influenced story.
There's nothing other than SF/fantasy in there, so no politics or whatever unless they are in the stories.
