Which model do you have?
I run a Mazda forum/owners club for the 323F model, but I have loads of links for other Models. 😉

Cheers Renton, same car, as I'm sure you know then there's no service schedule as such in the manual other than get it serviced every 12.5 k 🙄
I've got the 62.5k service to do next and wonder what it entailed. I know the 75 is the biggy but itd be nice to have a list of requirements to shop around for a price with the independents.

My car is due the same service as yours next and from what I could gather when I asked it is a basic service i.e. Oil and filters.

I have the 2.2 diesel? How do you find yours? I am struggling with getting the drivers seat comfortable at the moment

Just bought an 09 estate 6 after 24 years on Passats. Thought I might try a car that didn't need repaired the whole time...fingers crossed.

Two main dealers I spoke to today mentioned gear box oil as well. To be fair neither were very forthcoming with the actual details other than the price! £210-£220 incl vat which is a piss take to be fair if its a basic service.

Coming from the impreza I was dreading it but I'm thoroughly chuffed. Handles far better than I thought an estate could, plenty of grunt especially "in gear" acceleration, all the bells and whistles bar sat nav, but the main thing is that it doesn't feel like every time I get in it, it's a race or mission to get there quick.

What about the drivers seat mate? Do you find it comfy enough?

Pretty standard price for a service from a main dealer. What were you expecting?

To be fair I don't do a lot of miles in it as I'm always in the van. Haven't driven it for longer than an hr yet. Seats don't hold you like the old preza buckets did and I think the previous owner must have been a big lad as the right hand bolster has had a bit of hammer. How long you had yours?

£150 tops for a basic service. If I get my normal mechanic to do it probably more like £110

I find the drivers seat really comfortable (couldn't get the Passat seat far enough back without having it right down),just a bit of lumber support dialled in, great.
Initially found the 2.2 diesel sluggish around town, but that was because the VAG PD engine had all its torque below 2000 rpm so I'm getting used to changing up later.
Out of town it drives great; not been in a car that went round corners on rails like this since I drove a Pug 306.

It's mainly my shoulders I have a problem with in my car as I've got quite wide shoulders.

The problem with getting an indie to do the service is most of them dont have the kit to reset the oil level and dpf saturation levels after doing the service.
