Doing a little research and as STW is the font of all knowledge...
Anyone lived there before? Is it like the UK? Hows the cost of living? Any decent roads/trails for riding?
From what I remember, a lot of the people that work there live on the Spanish side and commute onto the rock.
Biking-wise, I cannot remember a single bit of trail, but there may be something round the rock itself. Mostly though, it's just steep roads that are fine for running and avoiding marauding rockapes. Gin was cheap there, so were cigarettes.
Sorry the information's not hugely helpful. They do have a Morrison's though, just down the road from DTC near the marina.
There was the guy who's from Dumfries who went to live in Brazil. He was the manager of one of the bookies there. IIRC he didn't like it much.

Visited a few times.
Could not imagine living there. Pretty grim in my opinion.
Gibraltar is very small so no bike riding. All rides are in Spain, there are one or two clubs but they are mainly roadies. Once in Spain there are lots of places to ride, especially mountain roads. The roads are pretty safe too.
Gibraltar itself is not like the UK. It has it's own good and bad things about it. It all depends on what you are looking for.
At the moment things are quite political between the Gib and Spanish governments. In the near past, relationships have been much better.
