Our ecotec plus 837 combo boiler has sprung a leak. Seems the flexible plastic pipe to the syphonic condensate trap has melted where it touches the copper pipe to the pump. Does anyone know how to get the bloody condensate trap out?

Looks like the pipe from the top is connected directly to the main heat exchanger and only the bottom of the trap comes out for servicing.
As the heat exchanger is in the combustion chamber you should really get a gas safe guy to look at it.
