Wife has a simple single color logo, one a4 and one A5, and wants to screen print them. Can anyone tell me whats the best diy way to expose the screen itself or would i be better off trying to find a printer who would do the screen for me? Thanks
Printed up a few Lucero (orecuL) cross copy t shirts in school by using this process but wouldnt know where to start these days!
I did some at the local college using photocopies that were oiled to translucency then exposed on the screen using a UV bulb. Can't remember what emulsion was used. It was all a bit Heath Robinson, and for a couple of shirts I reckon probably too much hastle. If you were going to set up to do limited run shirts as presents for friends then probably worth it. I did around half a dozen, some in two colours. Still wear them eight or nine years on, printed on Fruit Of The Loom shirts.
