Done my CBT and got theory test booked. Starting to wonder if worth getting 6 months on a 125 then getting my full licence or just go straight to getting full licence. I've had my driver's licence for almost 14 years. Ta
I passed my direct access a couple of weeks ago, although I had plenty of dirt bike experience. For Mod 1 & 2 I had 1 days tuition before the test, and took the test on a cb600f. If you're properly used to the gears and brakes & throttle coordination then I'd say it's not hard and as a car driver you'll know the road law stuff. Now I'm just procrastinating about getting a sv650....
Any road experience won't do you any harm at all, and it'll at least mean that you can take advantage of the weather as by the time you fully pass it'll be winter.
I did my bike test a few weeks ago although I've been riding bikes for years my CBT had expired so I had to redo it, I personally thought it was better to do it straight away as your still in the training mindset and you don't have time to pick up habits
