After nothing last year the little one is desperate for snow this year to go sledging, especially when she heard someone on TV mention the s word last night
I've seen a couple of pictures of a white looking Whinlatter
Has anyone further south got a sprinkling yet?

I'm sure if the south had a sprinkling we'd have heard about the chaos it causes and how people hate it. It would also be headline news on the TV.

*Looks out window at moonlight on the Ben*

Yes. That's everyday since March I think, as a couple of patches on the north face persisted all summer.

Predictably, the Wail was forecasting horrendous conditions affecting a huge area of the country on Monday, commuters struggling through 8" of snow, etc.
A light dusting in the far North-west of Scotland, and possibly the Welsh mountains, does not constitute 'a huge proportion of the U.K.'.
Idiots. ๐Ÿ™„

First 'Arctic Blast' headline of the winter from the Express. Apparently there might be a bit of snow on the Scottish mountains, in December. Who'd have thought it.
