We have just got one and it's been on charge for 9 hours. Does the light go green when it is fully charged?

Wwe have a man caled Kevin who cleans our windows, he sometimes goes red but never green.

Takes forever to fully charge
Think its green mines showing red but only been on charge since this morning
Karcher recommend leaving it plugged in between uses but the woman of mine unplugs everything
Spot of vinegar in your sprayer windows gleeming no streaks
Also brilliant at sucking up condensation from non double glazed windows
Recommended good job esp cheap from diy dot com
