A mates been having problems, i've never had them myself.
Was just looking round thinking it'd be sorted with a bit of stretching or something, but it looks like a nightmare!
They've had probs for a couple of years

Yes I have, I got them while training to join the military. Purchased a set of custom soft insoles which sorted the problem until I ran with weight and was back to square one. I then had a hard plastic set of custom insoles made at a cost of £300 (thankfully paid for through the military) and my problems have not resurfaced since 2008. The place I got the soft ones was Profeet in London and the hard ones were from Exeter if that helps?
