I'm going to be in Calgary on business shortly. Would love to go for a bike ride (road or MTB) next weekend. Anyone know of a club / shop where I can hire a bike and tag along? Happy to hire a car and head out of town to Banff even.
Called in here a good few years back http://www.bowcycle.com/ staff were very helpful, not sure if they hire bikes tho

I don't know if The Source (bike and snowboard shop) in Canmore and Calgary still exist but if so could be worth chatting to them.
The Source were still there this winter (in Canmore at least)...

I'd check out Rebound Cycles in Canmore. They definitely used to rent quality MTB's and their staff did a bit of guiding for us when we were out there. Great trails in the area. About an hour from Calgari I think.
