The local supermarkets have pretty much sold out of baby milk/formula with signs up saying manufacturers are unable to keep up with increased demand.
I read a few days ago that people were being rationed because of bulk buying to send off to China, just didn't realize it would affect us so quick. They need to sort it soon cause in this house of foster kids there ain't no alternative. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just been telling the OH about what went on with baby formula in China a few years ago, so certainly not blaming them or anyone. Wasn't someone sentenced to death for that?

Had a similar problem a coupla months ago with the reflux versions cos Gaviscon were being dicks..
Not that it's the first time they've been accused of withholding product to keep demand high!

Prescription drugs are commonly in short supply, mainly due to shipping where the manufacturer can get the best price and often (for non-generic stuff) only having a single factory producing it.
