I love the way they're giving little clues away, how hype should be done...

Gave it a quick listen...

It sounded like really dreary ambient hip-hop.
No music should be ambient.
Probably sounds alright if you're the sort of soul-less honky mo-fo that enjoys Pink Floyd.

Deary, deary me. Anymore with the idiotic racist name-calling? 🙄
I guess you have the baggy jeans hanging down around your butt-cheeks, the flat-peaked baseball hat sat sideways, and strut around like you're a corner boy from the Projects.
You just come across as a cock.

CountZero,

turn around from your computer, walk away, and keep walking until you find your sense of humour.

Good stuff, like their music, met them once and they seem nice chaps too. Their red moon secret gig in 2007 led me on a wild goose chase trying to interpret code numbers, turned out to be somewhere we'd spent the day anyway.

I like Boards Of Canada. I might be a honky mo-fo, but I for your information have two Souls in the garage, and I went off Pink Floyd years ago. Nyer.

I might be selling one of the Souls, incidentally, in case anyone's interested; watch this space.

Yup, looking forward to the new album.

A friend persuaded me to see Autechre play at the Venue in 1997 and BoC turned out to be the support.

Loved it at the time and while their name stuck in my head I didn't discover any of their albums for a few years after that.

That April fool story is ace... I quite enjoy BoCs cryptic marketing and live elusiveness, but it obviously makes some folk a little too fanatical.

'Siege of Bitterns' 😀

I've posted bits before in the Tune Association thread but if anyone wants a listen to something else that's a teeny bit Campfire Headphasey then try Solar Bears 'She Was Coloured In' on
Soundcloud. Their 2nd release Supermigration is on there too.

I loved hearing it on the live stream - somehow didn't get to see the visuals. Anyone know if the recording of this emerged on the net anywhere?

Right now I'm listening to this and it's absolutely beautiful:

Solid Steel: "As a listener to Solid Steel and a massive fan of Boards Of Canada, we invited Peter Serafinowicz to share a selection of music to coincide with the release of 'Tomorrows Harvest'. Sit back and enjoy a stroll through this BoC inspired mix."

Yep posted that mix on the soundcloud thread on here last night, was blown away by it, had no idea Mr Serafinowicz had such good taste in music.
