b) Commiserate

c) Ridicule

d) Remind me why I should get try to get something done.

I was.  However, just swapped a front brake hose and got a good bleed in 10 minutes - so feeling a little better now.

By the sounds if it either May or Borris will be...

A good old leadership challenge will perk us all up in the office here

Was lucky enough to buy my full allowance of premium bonds last month.

First draw today.

Won absolutely nothing.

I shall win the euro millions instead.

For the first time ever I got up this morning and thought “f*** it“ and didn’t go to work. Absolutely no reason for it and don’t regret it . I’ll go in as usual tomorrow.

Yep, spent 5 days away at the Cycle Show exhibiting. It was pretty damn tiring but being sat at my desk is boring in comparison, I can feel the enthusiasm I gained beginning to leave me.

Nah. Just got PBs on a load of segments that I ride pretty much every week of the year. 25mph NNW wind = optimum for STRAVAA!

Agreed, after a long largely lovely summer, Autumn seems to arrived all of a sudden overnight, the heating clicked a week ago and the nights are drawing in at breakneck speed. I'm going to the Gym tonight to pound away on some hateful machine in a room full of vain toss pots instead of riding in the woods in the sun.

The press often say that Jan 21st is the worst day of the year, the one when everyone's credit card bill drops on the mat after Christmas or whatever, a combination of buyers regret and anti-climax that it's all over. With more than a touch of Schadenfreude I love that day, all those giddy idiots bubbling about 'Crimbo' who drive me nuts from the moment the kids go back to school finally STFU, the sun is slowly coming back and we're less than 10 days from it being at least 'not pitch black' when I leave work.
