If so, then what were your experiences, best places to visit, etc.

Never investigated the possibilities, just know that Southern Ireland is supposed to be beautiful.

It's stunning, I toured round it about 8 years ago in B&Bs. The roads are appalling, I'd not want to be towing on them, a journey you think will take 2-3 hours on a map will take all day, you will get held up at horse fairs, behind ancient tractors but get to the right places, Connemara or the Kerry coast and its awesome

I can't even stand the accent in the North, whereas the South is lovely.
