Ive been offered an upgrade by o2 and already have an iphone 5, is anyone after a new phone?

Obviously i would upgrade my contract and sell the phone but if someone was after a specific model i could do that.

I can get the iphone 5, The galaxy S4 or the HTC one and i'd look to sell for about £300.

Seems daft not to get a new phone but i simply don't need one or the hassle of selling it on ebay.

The phone would be locked to o2 but my iphone 5 is not if someone would rather have that?

Why not just reduce your monthly payments? These days £10 a month gets you loads minutes and data, for £15 you'll be pretty much unlimited.

This. It's will be a terrible deal for you if you do what you suggest.

O2 refresh I think its called.

They separate the Tariff from the Phone payments on the bill so you can see what each element actually costs.

You will pay a lot more than £300 for the iPhone5 over the course of the contract that's for sure !!!

Yeah I've gone against that now after looking at my options.

I've come off O2 completely and gone with 3 so I get what I need at a far better price.

Cheers all, my unlocked iPhone 5 will be on the classifieds soon.

How much extra is the deal costing you over the contract term vs a sim only deal ?

I already own my own iPhone 5 so the iPhone 5 I got with this one will be sold and offsets the amount for airtime and all you can eat data.

If only you'd mentioned this before I could have given you 30% off your O2 line rental as I work for them.....

Ah damn, I'm a student too but they wouldn't take my acceptance letter. I needed to go to store and have one nowhere near.

30% would have been lovely. Maybe I can return the three contract as I've not done anything with my O2 one yet. Was about to ring and cancel.

I looked at doing the same recently, and unless I sold the phone for full retail price, it would have cost me more to do it that way.

The sim only deal was exactly the same minutes/texts/data and added up over two years was exactly the value of the iPhone5 at retail less than deal that came with a new phone (unsurprisingly)

Are you sure yours is any different to that ?
