Spotted on sunday evening in the sky, Worcester area.

Halo phenomenon, cloud ice crystals.

got the name and details from Gavin Pretor-Pinneys book on Cloud spotting.

Yep spotted something similar off the M6 just north of Penrith last night. Driving so no pictures.
