I've been looking at getting a Fujifilm FinePix F70EXR, because of the EXR sensor and 10x optical zoom. Anyone got one? What do you think of it? Is there anything else I should be considering for around the same price?
Cheers
I am not sure how much the Fuji is but the Panasonic Lumix TZ range is really good and definitely worth considering.
They have a very good optical zoom (x12) and face recognition (which actually works!) is 2 levels of image stabilisation (which also works!). The TZ6 and TZ7 are the same, except the 7 has HD video - as far as I can tell, that's the only difference.
Cracking little cameras if they're the price you're looking at.
(I have an OLD TZ1 which is still fantastic so I can't justify buying a new one, but J and his brother have newer ones and they're ace!)
I was considering (and still am, tbh) a reconditioned one from here:

... but if this is the same as the F70EXR it's a bargain at £167, surely?

Agree with TN; it's between these and the Panasonic TZ6/TZ7.

some silly cheap prices from these guys - just bought one of these and am well pleased.
How about a Canon SX120 or SX200? image quality is amazing!!!
