After 3 days of steady downpours my water butts are full to brimming, spent the last hour emptying one due to it overflowing down the side of the summerhouse (cue damp problems again) 330 litres from a couple of shed roofs in 3 days.
The shed is fairly new and I've recently fitted (turns out, badly) guttering. The summerhouse has a more cobbled together guttering affair which I need to have a better look at if its to last.
I love August.
Should overflow naturally, or is that the badly fitted bit?
Thats the badly fitted one, needs to run off into the pond rather than down the side of the summerhouse. However the plan to do that one sunny weekend in August has all but gone in a downpour or 5.
