Any way to renew a subscription to this site?

I switched from auto renewal to manual renewal on this site a few months ago. My subscription ended 1 April and so I have been trying to renew for the year and to pay to place an ad but I've had no success with either.  It won't accept payment.  Am I doomed to be spammed with ads and click here's or is there a way to get STW to take my money? I've sent an email to the subscription team and so I guess I just need to wait until after the holidays?  Time is running out for the ad though which is why a workaround would be good.
