my i phone 6S has crashed. just got the wall paper showing, nothing else on the home screens and cant switch it off. any way to force a shut down rather than waiting for the battery to die as was on 90% and need the phone early doors tomorrow?

already googled and tried that, not working. should of been more prescriptive in my post

Google iPhone dfu mode , basically reset it whilst plugged into a PC
