Initially to repair ground floor joists and respace floorboards, then probably other work to follow.

Anybody able to help, or recommend, and/or provide guidance as to daily rates?

Thanks.

Didn't realise you were an avid follower of the minutiae of the show Spongebob, afraid I took you for a casual fan.

Anyways, wtf prompted you to post that? Wrong thread?

Well I'm neither unemployed, nor underemployed, I'm pleased to say.

And besides, I don't do privates .....only new build. The only exceptions is family - in which case I don't do it for the money anyway.

BTW, I'm amazed you're prepared to travel to SE London Deadly 😯

Thanks Stoner, this week I'm working on the new Marriott Hotel at Lingfield Racecourse. Which is interesting, as it's got a grandstand view of the track (you could almost spit on the horses as they go past) and I haven't much experience in going to the races (only been once) what, with it all being for toffs and that.

Only temp mind, got pulled off a new Lidl's in Norbury due to lack of materials - should be back in a week or two.

My work takes me here and there, being speshilized an' all that guv...actually, the place here in the SW that recommends me sometimes "leans" on me to travel for work if the client insists on getting a recommended man to do the job - keeps everybody sweet. And I don't mind the travel every so often - plenty of chums in London to see when I'm there.
