It's a fantastic system - we install quite a bit of it. Very easy to install, setup and use.

Absolutely brilliant. I've got the all in one "S5" which I think they've just renamed to "Play5". It's in the the kitchen running off a "Zone Bridge" (which is a wireless bridge).

My setup isn't officially supported but it works fine.

The ZB is supposed to be plugged in to your main router (unless you're going to use a Cat 5 cable from your router to the Zonebridge). I use a 200 MBS powerline adaptor to route to a second router that has the ZB plugged in to it.

I will be getting a couple of the new "play3"s in the near future to build up the network.

The Android & Iphone interfaces are great. I just wish they'd added a "next track" button to the units. You have to control that from your phone or a PC.

The Spotify integration is another big plus for me. As ease of use overall, quality, design etc go, I really like this product. Their support is excellent as well.

Also look at the Logitech Squeezebox range. I'm not sure how they compare on price any more but love mine - again, Spotify and BBC iPlayer integration and iPhone remotes.

I've been using a Sonos system with a networked hard drive for a couple of years and it's really great. Cheap iomega 500GB hard drive attached to router along with a zone bridge and a couple of zone players. It works really well and set up was easy. It is great to have access to all my music without needing to have a PC switched on, but the thing we use most is spotify- since that was introduced about a year ago I've almost exclusively streamed with spotify rather than buy CDs or download from iTunes etc. It's £9.99 a month but that is less than I would have spent buying the same music.
The new small players with built in speakers look great. Am tempted to add one for upstairs as well...

OP I should have added that all my media is on a QNAP NAS, but like Doc above I tend to just use Spotify premium now.

Using Sonos S5 (Play:5) with zonebridge, it's great. Have it linked up to my ReadyNas Duo, but am yet to get most of my music onto it as yet (still need to export to flac).

The ReadyNas is mostly used for streaming 1080p mkvs to the telly, and like others Spotify is how I access most of my music on the Sonos.

Also like listening to radio shows such as R4's The Now Show on it (Radio>Search>Shows). A very convenient bit of kit!
