Where you can send your wife for a day to get massaged and manicured and all that jazz. The closer to the Highlands the better, but would go as far as Glasgow or Edinburgh. Thanks.

My wife's a big fan of Stobo Castle near Peebles, nice surroundings and great treatments (apparently) 8)

Peebles Hydro is also suppposed to be good, as is Creiff Hydro.

I went to Glentress while my wife was at Stobo, she did not think it was that great bit of a conveyor belt. The women at our hotel near Peebles recommended i think the sheraton in edinburgh.

The Sheraton in Edinburgh is great. The spa has everything including a pool where you can swim outdoors. My missus was in heaven and earnt me enough brownie points to nip down to Glentress 8)

Try laterooms, we got a pretty good deal through them.

I'm told the Macdonald Marine Hotel & Spa in North Berwick is good.

I'm also told that the Peebles Hydro is nothing special.
