Looking to head to the lakes for a day of biking then a day of walking, staying in a pub with rooms. 4 blokes so no need for a boutique hotel, good old fashioned hospitality is key.
Budget? Not sure, what should I expect to pay for a Sat night in November?
Can anyone help? Cheers

middle of coniston and does about 10 different beers so dont try all of em if youve got an early start and its good food. nice round the lake. Close to Grizedale forest which is brilliant and has a lot of bike trails you can also walk to the top of coniston old man from the pub the start of the trail is about 500 yards from the pub .

Stayed here during the CycleActive "Lakeland Loop".
Incredibly comfortable bed, en-suite power shower, real ale gastropub attached, enormous breakfast. Superb.

Ok, not really in the heart of the Lakes, but the pub in Ings is very nice and does lots of nice beers. Most people pass it by.
