[Closed] any plumbers on here.... ferroli boiler help!
my brother in law has just bought a house with a ferroli optimax 31c boiler with a matching ferroli timer thing.
now its losing pressure and they also cant programme the timer as they have no manual and its constantly on?
we have looked at the ferroil website and cant find any mention of the timers ?
any ideas !!

yep we've already got that manual but there is no mention of the programmer/timer in there??
can't halp woth the manual, suggest you contact Ferroli.
losing pressure, check the safety valve discharge pipe, usually 15mm pipe to outside spmewhere close to the boiler. Then check for any obvious leaks around the baoiler, radiators and valves.
Also if you are half competent check the pressure on the expansion vessel.
I had a persistant pressure drop problem in my system, was looking for a new boiler as I couldn't fix it, then discovered a small leak in one of the radiators was causing it.
cost to fix, 1 second with a pipe wrench 🙂
