Any packable, insulated, gilet bargains out there?

It's the time of year when I could do with something for those cooler-but-not-cold-and-probably-warming-up-later dog walks. I'd like something packable so I can sling it in a bag or maybe even a cargo pocket on my walking trousers. Any bargains about?

I have one of these

Frederik Anderson Copenhagen Ultra Light Down Gilet

You might need a slightly larger size than me, I wear a small and it's true to size. Packs down well and works fine.

I love a gilet. But can I just say that my new discovery for “very, very packable; breathes well but adds instant warmth” is the Patagonia Houdini. Packs as small as most gilets, but adds more warmth than my gilet.

patagonia micro puff is pretty decent, but size down. galibier is very good for the price, true to size as it has stretchy side panels.

I have an older Galibier one still going strong. Just about goes in a jersey pocket, great for post evening ride pub stops. Mine is reversible, orange and black.

Uniqlo ultralight down gilet, packs into a little bag, that could be stuffed into a pocket.

Not in stock at the moment, it might be possible to find some around, one thing I particularly like about it is it doesn’t leak down all over everything, like a more expensive jacket I have.

If you want an actual argain then decathlon. My synthetic was under £10. It’ll be more now but did the job. A down one is £40
