My son had some head trauma earlier in the week, eye swelled up and so far he's been seen at the local walk-in clinic, followed by A&E followed by Eye Treatment centre this morning.
He was X rayed earlier but we'd wrongly assumed that there would be a follow up chat afterwards with the Ophthalmologist, but it now turns out we'll need to wait until next Friday for any follow up...we've obviously got a pile of questions and so I'm wondering whether there are any Ophthalmologists on here who wouldn't mind a chat/email?

Is there an eye hospital nearby to go to for an examination? I've recently had a retinal detachment caused, in part, by a head trauma suffered previously.
Yes this morning's appointment was at the specialist eye treatment centre. Retina was thoroughly checked and is OK but possible optical floor fracture hence the questions.
