Following op, have been given Diclofenac and Co-codamol and frankly am feeling very nauseous.
After accident I was given Domperidone to help with the nausea, was taking Co-codamol and possibly something else.
Question is - if I took Domperidone, would it interfere with Diclofenac?
Many thanks. 🙂
The Diclofenac is probably what's causing the nausea. Almost all anti-inflamitories have ths side effect.
It might be worth just calling your GP or NHS Direct to see if they can advise you whether you can ate them both together.

. NoLikely to be the codeine making you nauseated (medical pedantry, sorry), you could try switching the cocodamol to plain paracetamol.
feel better soon.
OK, thanks very much. 8)
Are you eating well? Codeine on an empty stomach will do funny things. As lactic says, try cutting out co-co's and taking paracetamol instead.
If you still have some domperidone it will be fine, but it might be worth speaking to a chemist and getting something a little less full on.
Also eat plenty of fibre and drink plenty of water, Co-co's will back you right up!
As suggested in another thread

turmeric is supposed to be an anti-inflammatory, so you could try that.
Those heat pads you can get from boots are very good at killing the pain.
The Curaheat ones need to go on some clothing, bu the Thermacare ones can go straight on the skin.
Have 'enjoyed' a two day vom-fest so was unable to eat anything until today. Have ditched the Co-co in favour of Domperidone and taking Diclofenac as well.
Sounds as though I may need to add laxatives to the list!
Thanks again for help. 🙂
CG, get well soon. 😀
diclofenac turned by pee to paste, i had to drink loads.
