My Googlemojo is failing me today. Off to Aviemore at the weekend and have been promising the kids I would take them climbing.
Kids are 4, 6 & 8 so ideally a place with simple walls as well as traverse / bouldering type stuff for the youngest. Cafe would also be good....
used to be one with a bunkhouse in Aviemore
There used to be one in Dalfaber Industrial Estate. Don't know if it is still there though.
That one closed some time ago.
I've climbed at Glenmore Lodge before, not really aimed at young kids.
Surprised there isn't more of a market for this in Aviemore, hopefully it means that everybody is outdoors climbing instead!
Thanks anyway.
There was an indoor climbing place in the Dalfaber industrial estate but AFAIK it is now closed. There are however climbing walls at the Craig Maclean Leisure centre in Grantown on Spey and at the Abernethy centre in Nethy Bridge.

Hope that helps

There are a few holds bolted to the wall at the bus stop at Cairngorm.
