Today I had to pleasure of several hours of sales from a company wanting me to buy a 1/200 fraction of a 50ft 4 berth yacht. To summarise the premise here's some of the details:
1 fraction gives you the entitlement of 1x 2 berth cabin for 1 week on the yacht every year.
You can use this entitlement and use the yacht if you like.
You can exchange this entitlement for some other holiday location accommodation.
You can rent out your entitlement and get a return.
Having the entitlement also grants you access to lots of other cheap holiday accommodation offers.
Does anyone have any experiences good or bad from a fractional ownership arrangement?
