Looking to do the training to become an assessor/advisor. Looking at a course with PPL Training. Any experience/thought/advice gratefully received.

Hey,

is there much of this work required in your area?

I know that a sum of a money has recently become available for Solid Wall Insulation grants - these properties would need a Green Deal Assessment prior to acceptance on the scheme. Not sure if this is all over the UK, but it would also be worth checking.

Check CIBSE for info on assessor advice..

I think there may be. Any building, sale or renting of a buildings requires an EPC. Anyone going for the new Renewable Heating Incentive requires a green Deal assessment and then there's the stuff you're talking about.
I've had a struggle to find anyone local.
