So we got a baby crestie on Saturday with a 45x45x60 terrarium filled to the brim with branches, hides and plants. But for 4 days solid, he's not come out of hiding at all - he's barely moved. He certainly hasn't touched any food for as long.
I know you're meant to leave them be for a week or two, but I'm at the stage where I might try and hand feed him just to get him to eat - this I fear might stress him out even more.
I had a thought that maybe the terrarium is too big and he feels a bit lost?
Could I just use a smaller plastic box whilst he's still a baby and transfer him to the larger tank when he's a juvenile?
He's probably pining for something a bit bigger. Like freedom.

Noted.
Does he have a lady Crested Gecko friend to keep him company?
I used to have a created gecko and barely ever saw it. Being nocturnal they will hide all day and only come out at night. Mine would only come out when it was completely dark and even a dim light on would make it freeze or hide

I can now see the appeal of a Crested Gecko as a pet......

An excuse to buy night vision goggles?
I have a number of reptiles and I always offer food straightaway and if they take then all is good. If they don’t then I wait a week or two.
It is more often snakes that refuse for weeks as opposed to days. Lizards tend to get stuck in.
As regards to the set up you have probably been told you don’t need a uvb light in there. You very much do. Feel free to pm me any questions - if I don’t know the answer I’ll know someone that does.
