So bought an HP laptop today and have no idea with this 10 malarkey...
I used MSE and Malwarebytes on the windows 7 laptop which done its job for years and were free 😂
So what's recommended for Windows 10 as it looks like MSE doesn't work with 10?
Does Malwarebytes work with 10?

MSE is now defender and comes with win10
I use Malwarebytes with Win10,works just as well as it did with Win7
Uninstall whatever trialware crap it comes bundled with. Defender will kick in automatically.
Run Windows Update. Don't click on stupid shit.

This, but updates are automatic now, but go to advanced settings and select "update other Microsoft products" or the like if you run Office too.
