Off to Glasgow next weekend to see my son who lives in the Hyndland area. He doesn't have a spare bed so thinking of taking camper van and looking for a safe park up. Search for sites offers up Riverside museum carpark which allows overnight parking. It has four good reviews on the site from this year but just looking for local opinions as to if it will be safe to leave the van unattended during evening up to about midnight while we have a night out with the lad. Says there is CCTV on the car park. Cheers!
It's well away from any residential areas and you don't get much in the way of people just walking past because it is a little way away from anywhere. You should be fine.
I'd be fine with that, I've left cars in dark car parks all along the Clyde.
