Looking to replace my dying HTC One S with something similar in size, metal case, long battery live (HTC Achilles heel) and reliable but not costing the earth and not full of pre-loaded crap like Twitter and facebook
Is there anything out there?
I've looked in the shops and most handsets seem to be huge and very plasticky.
If metal is wanted then I'll be htc m8 or galaxy alpha, can't think of others. Don't know whether they are similar size but most will argue that the galaxy will be full of crap! Assuming you want to stay android and wish to avoid all the OEM install stuff you will be wanting googles nexus range or Motorola which is damn as near it stock.
Can recommend the nexus 5 but it is plastic!
Maybe metal case isn't a must have, I've just got used to the One S being robust after surviving a few drops
