So my Omega Seamaster, after servicing, is +12-15 secs per 24 hours when worn (normal living), but looks to be spot on accurate when left sitting face up/not worn (at least as assessed over last 24 hrs).

Is this normal ... I'd have thought the chronometer accuracy of -4/+6 secs per day would be when worn? Or am I wrong?

I'd say you're not and would be sending it back.

I wouldn't be happy with that.

Mine drops 6 seconds in 24 hours if it is worn and 15 if it not. It hasn't been services in 8 years.

I had a little moan re the accuracy parameters and was told to check time, same time every day over 7 days and log which way it was out. Think the co-axial is +4 -6 . It only ever went one way, never fluctuating between losing time and gaining. Jeweller told me it was probably just inside given tolerances but advised she could send it away for a check, however I'd probably be without it for 8 weeks 🙄

My Seiko 5 seems to be about the right time all the time. If I wanted to the second accuracy I'd buy a Casio Taliban special but I like the visible craft that goes into automatic watches.

My Hamilton has an ETA 2893-1 that keeps to about 2 secs a day. My Casio atomic is better but not as nice to look at!

Mine drops about 5s daily, so if I were you I'd send it back. How old is it?
