Is the amount on coverage of his announcement to retire OTT? Seems it to me, especially from the Beeb (who obviously have a vested interest in the sport). Good player and all that, lots of trophies but why does it need to be on every media outlet for days and days? He is still main headline on the Beeb website today for gods sake!
I cant remember the likes of Chris Hoy, or Brad getting this much attention when they retired. Maybe its just because I haven't liked Andy ever since his anti English statements during the world cup.
