[Closed] Android woe - SD Card wiped

This morning I am happily cycling into work and going along a deserted cyclepath, I hear a voice, from my phone! I take it out my pocket and it is speaking to me in Spanish, Paraguayan Spanish to be exact. I tried switching it off and ended up resorting to a reset, to no avail. It came back blabbering in Spanish.

It has set itself into "blind mode" where every button push was announced, fortunately someone who works with me and is [i]yer actual Spaniard[/i] got it back onto English speaking and I sorted it.

But it has wiped my SD card, photos, videos, apps, music all gone. Is there anyway of recovering these? I have tried the various restore functions which are no good.
