I've very tempted with one of these. An upcoming 40th Birthday and the wife is asking me what I would like.

Had a play around with one today in John Lewis, and it looked and felt great. I love the idea of the detachable keyboard. Seemed very good value for what it is. Reviews look good as well.

I have one. Marginally cheaper at gogodigital where i got mine
Had a TF200 Prime first but had problems with wifi reception. the TF300 is better in that respect, and is exactly the same on the inside.
No real experience with other tablets, android or apple, but all the reviews describe it as the best non-ipad tablet. Althought not sure what the new MS ones will be like when they come out on Win8.
In short, buy it.
