I recently had to change my phone, I went from a Motorola G4 to a Motorola G7. I transferred everything across but had to reinstall the Yahoo mail app from the play store (I know I can access my btinternet mail from Gmail but I like the way it's set up on Yahoo). The problem is I have to go through the sign in procedure everytime I come out and it will not open links from emails, telling me "the web page is not available", if I forward the emails to my wife she can open the links no problem. I'm sure it's some setting I have wrong somewhere but can't work it out. Can anyone please help.

Do the URLs look correct?

Is it opening in the app? Can you force it to hand over to Chrome or some such instead?

Weird. I've used the Yahoo app on my phone for years & really rate it. I've never experienced this problem.

It's not something like an app permission that you denied when the app was installed?

Might be worth uninstalling, re-installing & checking permissions?
Or there's probably a way to go directly to your permission settings per app. In mine it's settings>apps>cog at the top>app permissions. Probably simpler to uninstall & re-install?

I'd go with app security settings that prevent links being opened. I don't know the app specifically (but am now curious to try it)
