I'm pretty certain the soft keys (back, home, app list) used to auto hide, particularly in chrome, but I think all over the place. They seem to not do this anymore. Am I imagining this? And if not, does anyone know where to change the setting?
I'm on a nexus 5x btw.

Depends on the phone / android version. In V8 on nexus 5x, I think they only auto hide for full screen video.
