Just got my garden rake this morning and its taken me the best part of 30 mins and a good Stanley knife to take the tightly wrapped cellophane and black thinned out bin liners off the handle. I did more damage than if it had no wrapping.
Why do they wrap things like that. It's just vandalism.

Did it actually come from Amazon - or from another seller via Amazon? Personally, I'm quite happy with Amazon themselves for their packaging as although considerable (beats something arriving damaged) it is nearly always entirely recyclable.

Sounds like you need to retake your Stanley knife exam.

Lucky you didn't cut your self in the process.

Shouldn't laugh, but.

Hoe hoe hoe.

Maybe I'll send it to trailrat next time as he sounds highly skilled.

Because not everyone likes a dirty hoe?

They don't call him 'Terry the knife' for no reason...

My friend Billy had a ten foot willy, he showed it to the lady next door.
She thought it was a snake and hit it with a rake,

And now it's only 4 ft 4.

Indeed but I'd have to wrap it back up to forward it on after I opened it.

Should write a book, maybe call it The Rake’s Progress…
