So now Red Bull no longer show the WC DH I signed up to Discovery Plus. Lloyds Bank are giving me Disney Plus for a year as well. So I'm now disappearing down a rabbit hole that is Firestick 🙄 Is the Lite version all I need and what's the extra you get with the Ultra or whatever it's called? I read somewhere that Amazon are doing the Ultra for half price soon so does that make more sense?

The Lite isn’t 4k resolution.

If your TV supports 4k go for the 4k stick (£45)…

Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote (includes TV controls) | HD streaming device https://amzn.eu/d/3fKWImm

The interface is noticeably faster than my previous Firestick.

I've got an Amazon firestick but I prefer the Roku. Better picture, it seems, and also some stuff like BBC iPlayer uhd aren't available on the firestick.

I'd get the 4k one anyway, it's got a much better processor in it so will last longer before it needs to be upgraded. It automatically downscales to 1080 for regular TV's and the interface is noticably faster than the lite (I have both).

The 4K version also supports playing the sound through an Alexa speaker (the full Echo, not the Echo Dot). Sounds way better than the TV on its own, but probably not as good as a soundbar
